The "Legends and Lore" table provided guests with pictures, stories, biographies and more.  The research for the binder was found mostly at www.encyclopedia-titanica.org. Other useful links can be found on the "Links" page of this web site.

The custom made deck chairs - replicas of ones from the White Star Line - were won by Steve and Marianne Thomas of Oswego.  Some of our Board of Trustees are seen here, showing them off before the event. l-r: Allen Bjorkman, Associate Director, Mercedes Niess, Susan Wild and Joan Waterbury.

Harrison Wilde, seen here surrounded by beautiful guests, provided his professional photography services for those who wished to capture the evening for posterity.

The Ranous family was one group partaking of Mr. Wilde's services.

Couples, individuals and families all took part in the night's celebration.

Didn't the Duane and Sue Morton look fabulous in their costumes?

Rest assured that Harrison got them from the right angle to get Sue's lovely face!

People checked in at the "Purser's Desk" to get their seating assignments and silent auction bid numbers, as well as to purchase mementos.

Margie Minor and Brian Kocher examine the seating assignments they received; they were seated at Miss Edith Louise Rosenbaum's table.  Miss Rosenbaum was a journalist, traveling first class aboard the Titanic.

Tables were named for notables and Miss Rosenbaum's fellow first class passengers and bios were available for guests to read - abbreviated versions on the tables and full versions on the "Legends and Lore" table.

Other guests found themselves seated "with" Captain Edward John Smith, businessman Benjamin Guggenheim, Dr. Alice Leader, the activist Mrs. Margaret "Molly" Brown, bandmaster Wallace Henry Hartley (although he actually wouldn't have been traveling first class), theater manager Henry Birkhardt Harris, the artist Francis Davis Millet, shipbuilder Thomas Andrews Jr., lawyer Frederic Kimber Seward, businessman Isidor Straus, writer Colonel Archibald Gracie, real estate developer Colonel John Jacob Astor, or engine crew member Joseph Dawson (whom we also bumped to first class for the evening so people could learn more about the real "Jack Dawson" as apposed to the character from the blockbuster film "Titanic").

More to come, as time permits.......
